The Parent Umpire Mentor is required for Home games only.
The Parent Umpire Mentor should be the same person each time if possible.
Wear the vest provided.
Primarily you will be the welcoming point of contact from the home Club.
Help the umpire at all times and make them feel secure and welcome. Show them where the toilets, change rooms, canteen, etc are and a safe place to put their bag and personal belongings. Make sure they have a drink.
This role is NOT to instruct in umpiring.
Ensure all Coaches, Managers and Umpires shake hands.
